I did notice that everytime I try to start Forza, the Antimalware Service Executable/MS Defender Antivirus Service goes into High Usage mode and continues for a minute or so after the Forza startup screen disappears before dropping back to 0%.

I thought the xbox app WAS the xbox game pass app, is there another app I'm missing?! I even tried the list on the Appuals link posted in this thread which tells me to fix the xbox app and the xbox game pass app. I've tried all the recommended things, resetting xbox app, MS store, logging out off all of them, re-installing game services, etc. The other Gamepass games seem to start with no issue. I've been unable to get Forza Horizon 5 to start for days.

EDIT - I just checked the Microsoft Protection Log again and noticed that the time stamp in the error I listed is correct, but the "time stamps" at the beginning of each line in the log are listed in UTC and not in my actual time zone which is UTC - 8.
